Hector Saunier Prints
Hector Saunier, co-director of Atelier Countrepoint, was born in Buenos Aires in 1936. After completing studies in architecture in Argentina, he traveled to Paris in 1961 where he studied printmaking with Stanley William Hayter at Atelier 17.
He has exhibited in England, France, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Canada, Japan, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Morocco, Norway, Columbia, Belgium, Malaysia, Korea, Spain, Cuba and the United States. In the U.S., his work is in the collections of the Library of Congress, the Rosenwald Collection in Philadelphia and the New York Public Library.
