Cade Tompkins Projects (IFPDA)
Cade Tompkins Projects specializes in contemporary prints with far-reaching viewpoints and techniques, as well as contemporary painting, sculpture, installation, and video.
Cade Tompkins has been a contemporary art dealer for 30 years, first in New York while working for Brooke Alexander Gallery from 1981-1992 and then working as a private dealer creating special exhibitions in and around New York. In 1998, Cade and her family moved from New York to Providence, Rhode Island. Cade Tompkins Projects opened September 25, 2009 and to date has featured 31 exhibitions.
Collaborations with many important institutions include the Rhode Island School of Design's RISD Editions; Brown University, as well as national and international museum exhibitions and collections of works by represented artists. These include, but are not limited to, Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis, MO; Philadelphia Museum of Art, PA; International Print Center, NY; Brown University, David Winton Bell Gallery, Providence, RI; The Cleveland Museum of Art, OH; Columbia University Rare Books & Manuscripts Library, NY; Hood Museum of Art, Dartmouth College, NH; RISD Museum, Providence, RI; The Library of Congress and the Art in Embassies Program, Washington, DC; Saint Louis Museum of Art, MO; Florence Griswold Museum, CT; and Yale University Art Gallery, CT.
