Created specifically to honor Emily Fisher Landau, in honor of the opening of the wing in her name at the Whitney Museum of American Art, NYC, this original lithograph with collage (containing an actual fortune cookie fortune that reads ‘You will pass a difficult test that will make you happier’, Donald Baechler created this artwork in 1995. It is initialed by the artist in pencil, measures 12 1/2 x 9 1/2 in. (31.75 x 24 cm), unframed and is one of only 225 prints created in the unnumbered edition as printed by ULAE. This specific print is from the Estate of Jacob and Marian Javits, NYC.
