Carroll Dunham Prints

Carroll Dunham is an American painter and printmaker, known for his conceptual approach to painting and printmaking and his interest in exploring the relationship between abstraction and figuration. Dunham embraces pop culture including sci-fi and cartoons, with themes that include trees, guns, the planet, bathers and wrestlers amongst others. Dunham demonstrates his fascination and unique ability to play with scale, orientation and composition.

Dunham produced many prints, his first prints being created in the 1980s. Most of Dunham’s prints were lithograph prints. All of Carroll Dunham prints are original prints as Dunham saw printmaking as a distinct medium to create artworks.
