Earl Spencer K.G., (Charles Robert Spencer, 6th Earl Spencer, 1857-1922), Auction sale, ‘removed from Althorp’, Christies, 25.6.1919, lot 58, 38 guineas (£39.18) to Atherton (perhaps Atherton Curtis (1863-1943), see Lugt 94). with Annan and Sons, Glasgow.
