In “Disney Letter (Remastered)” Aleksandra Domanović reproduced a rejection letter, written in 1938 to a young woman called Mary V. Ford, applying for a creative position at Walt Disney Productions. While men were considered as “creative”, women merely had the option to fill the space between their lines. This reproduction not only displays the sexist structures that hide behind Snow White’s appearance, but look at the history of technology and entertainment from a gender-based perspective.
