Ingrid Bergman, who was most active in the 1940’s and 1950’s, is considered by the American Film Institute, the fourth greatest female actress of all time. In 1983, Andy Warhol created his "Ingrid Bergman" series, which features images of Bergman from her different roles. This image was taken from her role in the 1944 film, "Casablanca".
While Warhol created multiple prints of the same image, this print is the only one existence with its distinct color composition. No two of Warhol's Trial Proof prints are alike. This is an additional trial proof print of "Ingrid Bergman: With Hat" that is currently in Revolver Gallery's inventory.
