Fine, brilliant impression, in the second state of three, printed on paper with fragment of watermark coat-of-arms, similar to Succi (1986) no. 20, p. 129. The platemark retains traces of ink.
In fine condition with wide margins all around.
Across the foreground, a three-arched portico with a lantern hanging from the central span. Through the portico we see a house with anopen terrace; to the left of the house, a canopied bishop’s tomb, to the right a wall fountain with people drawing water. At the edge of the lagoon a triumphal arch, on the extreme right, a classical temple. In the distance, masts of ships and the lagoon.
