An original offset-lithograph, exhibition poster on wove paper after English artist David Hockney (1937-) titled “Galerie Kammer (Celia in a Black Dress and Red Stockings)”, 1981. Limited edition: approx. 1,000. Poster produced for a special exhibition of drawings and printmaking by Hockney at Galerie Kammer in Hamburg, Germany, October – November of 1981. The image featured on this poster is Hockney’s 25.5″ x 19.5″ crayon drawing “Celia in a Black Dress and Red Stockings”, 1973. Printed in England by an unknown printer and published by Galerie Kammer, Hamburg, Germany. Reference: Catalogue Raisonné: Hockney Posters by Brian Baggott: No. 43, pg. 132. Sheet size: 35″ x 25″. A few soft creases center right area, minor wear to top right corner. In otherwise very good condition with clean paper and strong colors.
