Note: In the early 1990’s Hockney became very inspired by the extended brilliance of colour range which he could incorporate in his prints as a result of the experimental technical advances at both Gemini and Tyler graphics studios. The prints of this period, also known by the general title of ‘Interiors’ have an absolutely exceptional ‘excitement’ in their colour tonality.This work was drawn using lithography on three plates combined with 23 colours in screenprint.Ref: Tokyo - Hockney Prints no 333. Superb impression with very brilliant colour. On Arches wove paper. Excellent fresh condition. Sheet: 649 x 903 mm.
