An original etching on laid paper by French A. Masson (Active: 19th Century) after Dutch artist David Teniers (1610-1690) titled “The Dinner Ham”, 1883. Signed in the plate by Masson lower right. Limited edition: 600. This etching was exhibited at the “Cent Chefs d’Oeuvre” or “Hundred Masterpieces of Work”, an exhibition held June 12, 1883 in the Gallery of Georges Petit, Paris, France. Georges Petit (1856-1920) was a French art dealer, a key figure in the Paris art world and an important promoter and cultivator of Impressionist artists. Sheet size: 12″ x 17″. Image size: 7″ x 9″.
