In the tradition of Pieter Bruegel, Vinckboons created many drawings made to be engraved or etched by other artists. Engravers and etchers inspired by the works of Vinckboons included Nicholaes de Bruyn, Claes Janz Vischer, Pieter Serwouters and Jan van Londerseel.
