Don Gorvett is an American artist and printmaker. Don’s main instincts are that of a painter. Because of his love for drawing and color, he has concentrated his efforts in the graphic medium of woodcut. His subjects center on the architectural and maritime activities of New England seafaring cities, and explores how memory is used to link the present and past.

The study for the reduction woodcut “Woodbury Studio from the Marginal Way” is on two-ply rag paper with grease pencil, India ink, and white ink. Please inquire about special pricing for purchasing the “Woodbury Studio from the Marginal Way” woodcut, block, and study to be sold as a group.

“Woodbury Studio from the Marginal Way” reduction woodcut is in the collection of the MFA Boston.
