A fine brilliant impression, printed in black on Arches paper, with watermark Arches, in excellent condition.
The print belongs to the series of 10 lithographs called Dix danseuses, published by the Galerie d’Art Contemporain de Paris in 1927.
It is the only album of lithographs by Matisse, with the preface of Waldemar George.
The edition, in addition to numerous artist’s proofs, was of 150 numbered and signed copies; 5 on China paper, 15 on Japanese paper, 130 on Arches.
