Invader’s mosaic installations on the street are quite literally, ‘Space Invaders’ – a collection of physical objects taking over available outdoor space; works that appear to have crept unannounced into our world from another planet or another age.
The ’tiles’ on these special prints are the same size as the constructed mosaic tiles that are found on the street – the embossing echoing the delineation of the tile-work.
This piece comes from the ‘Home’ series consisting of ‘Earth’, ‘Neptune’, ‘Moon’ & ‘Mars’, with each created as an edition of 50, signed and numbered by the artist.
