Jasper Johns has long explored a range of expressive variations using a crosshatching motif. Works with the title Usuyuki are named after the Japanese word for light snow. In 1979, the artist created this original print as a lithograph with the most delicate tones of salmon and pink, measuring 34 1/4 x 50 1/4 in (87 x 127.6 cm), unframed, hand-signed in pencil and numbered, from the edition of 49, published by ULAE.
