This print series is titled Gotham Haiku – four-color etchings with aquatint on Rives paper with an attached poem printed on rice paper. It is a collaborative project with writer Barry Schwabsky an American poet and art critic living in London. He is the author of Opera: Poems 1981-2002 (Meritage Press, 2003)

The Artist

K.K. Kozik

KK Kozik lives and works in Sharon, Connecticut and Brooklyn, New York. Primarily a painter, she has shown extensively throughout the United States, including solo shows at Black & White Gallery, and group exhibits at the Brooklyn Museum, Geoffrey Young Gallery, Nohra Haime Gallery and Pace University. In 2008 she completed an MTA Arts for Transit Commission for the Rockaway Park/Beach 116th St. Subway Station.
Her work is included in numerous public and private collections including Harvard Business School, Prudential Securities, Weir Farm Trust, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Library of Congress and Penn State University.
