Original colour lithographs. 1961/63. Signed in pencil. From the first proof issue of 10 impressions; numbered VI/X. The subsequent regular edition of the set was 115 impressions. Drawn and printed at the Atelier Jean Pons, Paris, 1961 to 1963. The series was issued by L’Oeuvre Gravée, Paris and Geneva, 1963.
Note: The ‘Paysages Humains’ compositions are the most important group of lithographs by Appel from his most influential period in the early 1960’s.
