An original embossed lithograph created by Louise Bourgeois in 2000, Eight in Bed is a fun, and funny work of art by a deeply serious artist. Throughout her career, Bourgeois explored gender roles and sexuality and this iconic print – included in MoMA’s permanent print collection – is symbolic of both. Initialed by the artist in pencil, the artwork is hand-numbered from the edition of 40, measuring 20 1/2 x 23 1/2 in. (52 x 60 cm), unframed.
