An original linocut, Mouguins, on Arches paper, printed in 4 colours: maroon on beige, brown, dark brown & black. Printed from one block. Signed (bottom right) and numbered (bottom left) in the margin, in pencil.
The title translates to ‘Young Man with a crown of Leaves.’ The work is a companion piece to another male portrait entitled “Hommne barbu courones de feuilles de vine.” The piece is very much in the cubist style in contrast to its companion which is more linear in appearance.
