Robert Longo (American, b. 1953) is a painter and sculptor. He received his BFA from Buffalo State College where he was closely associated with fellow student Cindy Sherman. Shortly after school, he moved to New York City and quickly joined the growing underground art scene in the late 1970s.
Longo is best known for his hauntingly realistic works on paper, and his large charcoal drawings. This is one of the artist's rare large format prints, instantly recognisable and powerful both in image and scale. It is a print that rarely comes to the market and will have a incredibly strong presence wherever it is displayed.
This print is sold unframed and in excellent condition. High res images and a condition notes are available on request, please contact the gallery with any questions.
