Original woodcut in four colours. 1913. With the artist’s monogram in the block. (There were no pencil signed impressions). From the edition printed in Paris from the original blocks and under the direct supervision of Kandinsky in 1938. Issued for ‘XXe Siècle – 20th Century’ (see notes).

Reference: Hans Roethel – Kandinsky Das Graphische Werk, no. 95.
The edition for ‘XXe Siècle’ was announced as 1200 (half for Europe and half for the USA) but it was probably not completed.

Excellent fresh impression with perfect unfaded colours. On the typical cream vellum paper. Excellent condition (never previously mounted or framed). Sheet: 313 x 240mm. Image: 105 x 157mm.
