Bonnie and Clyde Biography

Bonnie and Clyde is a Brighton based artist who uses collage, type, photography and digital imagery to produce visually arresting screen-prints and mixed-media originals. Her subjects range from street scenes of New York and Havana to engaging and unique snapshots of pop culture icons like Warhol superstar Edie Sedgwick and French provocateur, Serge Gainsbourg.

Born in Bradford, she studied 3D Design at Kingston University before setting up her own graphic design business producing illustrations and publicity material for arts festivals, book publishers, theatres, club nights and fashion designers. An avid photographer, she has exhibited her work on the American Apparel website and has photographed musicians, writers and artists for various publications. She shoots with a Leica and gets her inspiration from traveling around different cities and seaside haunts looking for fragments of counterculture.
