Lebogang Mabusela (b. 1996) is a young, contemporary, multidisciplinary artist and entrepreneur based in Johannesburg. Her art draws on capitalism and consumer products to interrogate the value of art objects and challenges gender norms perpetuated by Sepedi-setswana proverbs. Mabusela’s work is deeply rooted in her personal and collective experiences, making her an influential voice in contemporary South African art.
