The Letter (From New York), is a large abstract woodblock print by Japanese master Rikio Takahashi. A striking layered blue background creates a high contrast tone for abstract yellow, green and brown abstract forms. This print is an A/P. A later edition from the series is included in The British Museum’s permanent collection; a testament to both Takahashi’s importance as an artist, as well as the importance of this print in his body of work.
