Joseph K. Levene began collecting art when he was 12 when he purchased 1946 Alexander Calder drawing, still in his collection, from the legendary Perls Gallery. Son of legendary Broadway and film actor Sam Levene, Joseph K. Levene is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. A recognized Jasper Johns and Andy Warhol authority, Joseph K. Levene was previously President/COO, Petersburg Press, Inc., the international fine art publisher.
