The International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA)

Mission

Through its network, online presence, and public programs, the IFPDA fosters knowledge and stimulates discussion about collecting prints in the public sphere and the global art community. The IFPDA Print Fair, held annually in New York City, is the largest and most celebrated art fair dedicated to the artistic medium of printmaking. The annual IFPDA Book Award honors scholarly excellence and original research. The IFPDA also advances research, education, and dialogue for a new generation through its charitable Foundation.

IFPDA Fair

Established in 1987, the IFPDA is the preeminent international membership organization for galleries, dealers, and publishers specializing in prints and editions. Join us at the Park Avenue Armory, April 9 – 12, 2026 for the IFPDA Print Fair, a celebration of 550+ years of prints and printmaking.

Print Month 2025

A month of free online programs presented in partnership with our friends at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Print Council of America, Association of Print Scholars, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Print Center New York, and more.

Originally conceived as Print Week and expanded to Print Month in 2020, Print Week/Month convenes international scholars, curators, collectors, artists, and masterprinters to present programs on aspects of print history, printmaking, and connoisseurship. The programming for Print Week/Month is organized by the IFPDA with support from the IFPDA Foundation.

IFPDA Foundation

The IFPDA Foundation was established by the International Fine Print Dealers Association in 2009 to inspire and support educational projects aimed at fostering connoisseurship in the field of fine prints for a new generation of collectors, curators, and specialists. Its annual grants program provides direct financial support to exhibitions and scholarly projects that cultivate a deeper understanding of prints and their value as an art form. In 2014, the Foundation initiated its Curatorial Internship Program which funds internships in museum print collections.
