Plants in Prints

Guest Curated Print Exhibition – Plants in Prints

Paul Limperopulos, Co-Director of Benefit Print Project

Plants in Prints – Images of nature are nothing new. Prehistoric examples survive, and the ancient world enjoyed producing them, too (to the chagrin of Plato, who found such things particularly vexing). Artists throughout the subsequent millennia have created enduring works that transcend time and place and remain popular. For Polly Apfelbaum, Karl Bohrmann, Jean-Marc Bustamante, Mark Dion, Peter Doig, Yayoi Kusama, Marc Quinn, and Doug + Mike Starn, nature continues to be a source of inspiration.
