Christian Marclay represented the USA at the 2011 Venice Biennale where is was awarded the Golden Lion. His art often work explores connections between sound, noise, photography, video, and film.
Marclay has exhibited widely, including solo exhibitions at Tate Modern, London (2004), The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (2002), San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (2002) and Whitney Art Museum, New York (1997).
