Wien 196 ii/ii. Wood engraving on wove japanese paper, full margins. Edition of 60. One of only 27 signed impressions (there were also 6 unsigned). Extremely rare. Signed, titled and numbered 7/60 in pencil.

Landacre and his wife had just moved to a new home in the Los Angeles hills, and a group of neighbors pitched in to reroof the house. Apparently, the artist was amused and a little vexed by the volunteer crew. Amateurs is one of the rarest Landacre wood engravings.
