About the Artist: Claudio Simonetti (b. 1929) is an Italian artist celebrated for his refined technique and deep connection to classical artistic traditions. He began his studies at the School of Art and, as a young man, traveled extensively throughout Italy and France, where he painted from nature and learned from other artists at all the important art centers. These early experiences shaped his disciplined approach and lifelong commitment to mastering the essentials of fine art.
