An iconic and highly collectible piece from Andy Warhol’s Cowboys and Indians portfolio, Indian Head Nickel is a screenprint in colors on Lenox Museum board created in 1986. Hand-signed in pencil and numbered from the edition of 250, the artwork measures 36 x 36 in. (91.4 x 91.4 cm), unframed. Designated as F&S II.385 in the artist’s catalogue raisonne, the artwork was published by Gaultney, Klineman Art Inc., New York, and printed by Rupert Jasen Smith, New York.
