This set features four hand-signed Giclée prints by Anne Imhof, drawn from her internationally presented work YOUTH. The series captures striking moments from the video piece, where a herd of black horses charges through Severnoye Chertanovo on the outskirts of Moscow, framed by stark socialist-era housing blocks and a landscape covered in fresh snow.

Filmed just five days before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine (2022), YOUTH carries an unmistakable sense of tension and anticipation, preserving a moment that resonates far beyond its visual drama. Imhof’s belief in diplomacy and her enduring hope for peace remain deeply felt, even as the shadow of conflict hangs in the air.

Both haunting and reflective, the work offers a powerful meditation on the fragility of peace and the looming presence of violence.
