Barton Hargreaves’ work often explores the figure as subject in conjunction with powerful themes such as Time and Space. In this digital print, the three central figures simultaneously merge with the brick wall background whilst standing apart from it in a layered and collage-like image.
Hargreaves’ diverse practice embodies indoor and outdoor sculptural installations, digital printmaking, etching, and screen printing. He often combines techniques to dramatic effect.
