Bill studied art at Walthamstow Art School (1962-1966) and the Royal College of Art (1966-1969). An adventurous soul he taught for a couple of years and then spent the next ten years on some extreme adventures. He currently lives in Morocco. Throughout he has continued to produce art. His other passion is sailing. Two trips (in 1983 and 1986) led to the idea of creating ‘Pilot Whale’ to benefit Greenpeace. The sailing mania combined with the art for an exhibition at the Bernard Jacobson Gallery in 1989 titled ‘Arctic Voyage’. student
