Billy Childish is a prolific British artist, musician, and writer known for his raw, expressive style in both his visual art and music. As a painter, Childish creates bold, emotive works often linked to the traditions of Expressionism, drawing inspiration from his personal experiences and emotions. In addition to his visual art, he is a founder of the Stuckism art movement, which advocates for a return to figurative painting in opposition to conceptual art. Childish is also a highly influential figure in punk and garage rock music, having released numerous albums and published poetry and novels, making him a dynamic and multi-talented creative force.
