Description

Swimmers

By Billy Childish

Billy Childish is an English artist, poet, painter, musician, and writer known for his raw, expressive, and often deliberately unpolished style. Associated with the Stuckist art movement, which he co-founded, his visual art and music emphasize authenticity, emotional directness, and resistance to conceptual and commercial art trends. Across disciplines, Childish’s work is marked by intensity, personal honesty, and a rejection of artistic pretension.
