Born in 1969 in Vermont, USA, and raised in the UK, she studied at the Glasgow School of Art and later at the Royal College of Art. Her paintings often depict friends, family members, and children with loose brushwork and vivid color, creating images that feel both intimate and psychologically powerful. Joffe’s work explores themes of identity, femininity, vulnerability, and human relationships.
