1881-1981
A watercolour painter, etcher and wood engraver.
He did not enter the art world till after the WWI when he attended Putney Art School and the Central.
Most of his work is dated around 1920’s and 30’s when he exhibited at the Walker Gallery, Liverpool and Manchester Art Gallery annual salons. After WWII he moved to a cottage in Stroud where he set up a studio with his own press producing small editions. Through 1950’s till 1960 he produced etchings, woodcuts and wood carvings.
