Fifteen artists who worked in California were commissioned to create artworks that were printed as posters and used to promote the Olympic Games; David Hockney painted a swimmer that has become an iconic image of the time.
This poster is hand signed which makes it exceptionally rare as it is believed that fewer than 200 hand signed posters exist.
