The Artist

Deborah Azzopardi

Deborah Azzopardi has been producing pop art for 25 years; she is not determined to convey strong statements as part of philosophical objective. This allows her to be free to convey the moments of worry and excitement that take place in all our lives on a daily basis. She breaks her message into its essential parts, making her art accessible and relatable by communicating the essence of the situation.
She has gained respect for the honestly that she displays in the images. The viewer is encouraged to ponder, without excessively pensive thought or preconceptions, on the moment that is being represented. Her painting and prints celebrate the relationships, fantasies and worries that we all share.
