The poems are printed on translucent paper and the lithographs are printed on white paper, so the reader sees through the poems to the lithographs, rather than seeing them side by side as in most illustrated books.
Folio, in loose sheets in white satin-covered board folder with an imprint (in relief) of a ballet shoe on the upper cover, as issued.
Tiny traces of wear to cover, else fine and bright.
