Description

Thinking, Reflecting

By Hein Koh

Hein Koh is a Korean-American visual artist known for her playful yet provocative sculptures, installations, and multimedia works that often explore themes of motherhood, femininity, identity, and the subconscious. Drawing from personal experiences and pop culture, Koh creates surreal, often anthropomorphic forms using materials like soft fabric, silicone, and neon. Her work blends a bold use of color with an imaginative, dreamlike quality, challenging traditional ideas of beauty and gender while offering a unique, empowering perspective on the female experience.
