There are 20 large illustrations and numerous head- and tail-pieces.

From a total edition of 230 numbered copies, this is COPY NUMBER 3, ONE OF ONLY 30 ON IMPERIAL JAPAN PAPER, WITH A SECOND SUITE OF THE 20 LARGE ILLUSTRATIONS ON CHINE.

Furthermore, this is a PRESENTATION COPY FROM THE AUTHOR, with a signed inscription to Andre Douce and his wife.

4to. Original wraps. Entirely uncut. Slight traces of wear to wraps, else FINE AND BRIGHT.
