Notes: Special release of the KAWS: ALONG THE WAY limited-edition monograph. Presenting a comprehensive overview of the artist’s work, the publication includes photography of his career-survey exhibition in Hong Kong, an essay by the late curator Germano Celant, along with 34 collated cardstock inserts dedicated to the artist’s iconic figures.


This limited-edition of 1888 is packaged in a lipped clamshell portfolio box and individually numbered on the back. Released in November 2020 and sold out almost immediately.

The Artist

KAWS

KAWS (real name Brian Donnelly) was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. He studied illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York before working as a freelance animator at Disney. He also worked on the children’s animations ‘101 Dalmations’, ‘Daria’ and ‘Doug’.
