Marcelle Ferron (1924-2001) was primarily a painter who was associated with the Automatistes, a significant Quebec abstract art movement, and who later focused on large-scale stained-glass projects. However, from the late 50’s until at least the late 70’s she also occasionally experimented with printmaking, largely with serigraphy, but also producing a small number of etchings.
