A lover of detail known for his work on a miniature scale, Philippe Favier haunts flea markets and yard sales looking for raw material for his art. In late 2015, he unearthed a pile of old blueprints on tracing paper that inspired our first collaboration, Villa Cécilia. To create the matrices, he applied small Letraset transfer letters and figures to the maps, and made pen-and-ink drawings of tiny, strange creatures hidden in each room.
