Dîner japonais: Oie découpée
Artwork details
- Artist
- Pierre Roche
- Title
- Dîner japonais: Oie découpée
- Description
-
An exceedingly rare gypsotype by the inventor of the medium. Only ten impressions were printed, and since it's a dinner invitation, we can presume that many of those no longer exist. We have failed to locate another impression in private or institutional hands.
From the collection of Charles Saunier, who had written a very favorable review of Roche's work in the Revue Blanche (tome XXIII, n°117, 15 octobre 1900.)
Printed on fine wove paper.
In excellent condition.
