Rob Carter’s Travelling Still series evokes the feeling of movement in a still image as if taken from the side window of a driving vehicle, this is obtained by using a revolving lens camera and long exposures and has taken Carter over four years to collect the work on his travels in destinations from the bright lights of Vegas, Tokyo and Hong Kong to the Tulip Fields of Holland and seascapes around the world.
