Artwork details

Artist: Ryan McGinness
Title: Untitled (fluorescent Women Parts) 2
Description: McGinness explores the female nude, starting with a drawing, then refining it until he achieves a highly abstracted representation of the figure. In this playful series of screenprints, he deconstructs the figure and rearranges its parts into a visually tantalizing composition of shapes and fluorescent colors. The resulting prints are equally engaging under ambient and blacklight.
